JOB OVERVIEW

The IT Support Coordinator of Life Fitness is highly integrated with the infrastructure team to support our employees with all kinds of software or hardware related issues. Within this position you will work closely with peers across the globe, with a focus on IT support in the Netherlands and Spain, both from a distance online as in person at the office. Your role’s primary goal is to maintain effective hardware, software and telephony solutions in order to support core organizational functions and business processes. This also includes the full scope of gathering and analyzing business needs and using comparative analysis to come to correct solutions. Within this role you will need to apply communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments, along with a strong desire to learn and grow technically. 

Currently the IT Support Coordinator role is fully in development. As the possibilities of AI are increasing you as IT Support Coordinator will fulfil a key role in the AI implementations of Life Fitness by assisting in developing and enhancing AI- driven solutions, requiring a strong interest and aptitude in AI platforms such as, Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, Azure AI services, and API based integrations.

The roles responsibilities are structured as followed: 50% IT support in the Netherlands, 25% IT support in Spain (including quarterly visits to our Barcelona Office) and 25% AI tool development. 

 

What will you do?

  • Answer, evaluate and prioritize requests from colleagues experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking or other IT related subjects.
  • Log and track calls using the Solarwinds Service Desk ticket application system.
  • Be responsible for the maintenance, installation and troubleshoots of all hardware and software used by colleagues at the offices.
  • Assist in developing and enhancing automation workflows using AI-driven solutions and low-code applications.
  • Quickly adopt new AI and automation capabilities.
  • Analyse and evaluate incident reports and make recommendations to reduce the help line incident rate.
  • Contact external hardware or software providers when service regarding defective products is needed.
  • Installs personal computers, software, and peripheral equipment for example during the onboarding of a new colleague.

Requirements:

  • Broad experience with multiple Microsoft and Windows applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • In the possession of a strong interest and aptitude for learning enterprise AI platforms.
  • Able to travel up to 10% for Life Fitness on site-support or training.
  • Able to support production systems for maintenance and emergency support, required to be performed outside of business hours.
