Master Data Analyst

What the Master Data & Sales Operations Team does: We ensure that our business has the right data to work with when interacting with the company’s ERP systems MS Dynamics AX and Exact. We manage item master data, costs, sales prices, discounts and service-related information. We develop and maintain the front-end product configurator CPQ system (e-Con) which enables sales team members to create quotations in a system with a user-friendly interface, correct item and BOM data. Besides that, we work with custom databases that we build & maintain to make our processes more efficient.

You will support operations by processing, monitoring and analysing master data, key data, and master relationship data within the organization. Acting as the hands on the ground across the various tools and systems within the International Sales Business Unit (ISBU). You also support daily deliverables across all systems acting as a support in Dynamics, Exact and e-Con.

You have experience working within a master data team and you can pick up system and process related knowledge very quickly. You can participate in the daily data/system/process management and besides that you look critically at our systems and processes and come up with suggestions on how to improve our data quality and simplify our processes.

We are looking for someone who has experience working with master data processes on ERP systems, preferably someone with experience working on new product introduction projects and/or processing item setup across various categories within an ERP system.

 

Task Summary:

• Participate in the daily item setup master data management and sales operations activities in Dynamics AX/e-Con/Exact.
• Ensures consistency in master data processes and activities.
• Execute recurring complex processes and ad hoc projects like cost revaluation, price changes, year-end activities etc.
• Ensures master data integrity in all systems of scope as well as maintaining the processes and documentation to support the data quality.
• Hands on support in the master data and sales operations tool's assessment and improvement activities.
• Participate in further roll out and improvements for MS Dynamics AX for master data

 

Who you are & what you can do:

• WO or HBO with minimum 2-3 years of work experience in master data management.
• Outstanding Analytical skills
• Strong communication skills in English
• Proactiveness in learning and sharing knowledge with the team.
• Solutions oriented mindset.
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Experience with ERP Systems is required, (Microsoft Dynamics AX12 is a plus)
• Experience in an international environment is a plus
