Premium Segment Key Account Manager - International

JOB OVERVIEW

The ‘International Key Account Manager’ is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth across the most high-profile ‘Key Accounts’ in Life Fitness’ International business unit, covering the EMEA and Asia Pacific territories. You are an experienced key account leader who will lead the efforts, in close conjunction with the VP & MD Global Premium Clubs and relevant key account stake holders, across the Mid, Premium & Boutique (Studio) segment.

You understand customer needs and objectives and remain alert and responsive to changing market demands. You demonstrate consistent focus on actions that will produce positive sales results. You understand appropriate knowledge of the customers’ products and services to formulate business strategies to drive revenue. You develop and implement account penetration strategies to include regular business reviews for key customers to maximize sales. You possess an ability to listen, gain trust and bring to closure an action, project, or resolution to win new customers, and retain/grow existing share.

Working with both our direct sales teams and ‘indirect’ distributor teams, the role is highly collaborative and offers great flexibility and creativity. The role will be ‘hunter’ focused to further grow our share of the International Key Accounts business. You will also coordinate closely with our US key account teams, regional leaders, marketing, and product teams The position is home based, however require extensive travel with approximately 40% of your working time in international markets, focused primarily across the EMEA territory. 

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop overall Premium Clubs Key Account strategy and account plans for the international region
  • Take the lead on existing Life Fitness ‘Global Accounts’ that may reside in the international region, and/or broader international territory
  • Identify Key strategic accounts that are currently doing business with our competition and develop a plan on how to ‘Convert’ these opportunities,
  • Achieve personal targets for predetermined number of existing and new key accounts, agreed together with the VP & MD Premium Clubs Segment leader
  • Act as the ‘quarterback’ for Life Fitness cross-functional teams and collaborate on go-to-market strategy
  • Provide accurate and timeline pipeline and forecast information in CRM
  • Attend annual trade shows and events related to both key account attendance as well as distributor business focused events
  • Identify new business opportunities / models that can be incorporated into the Premium Club Key Account segment for Life Fitness
  • Focus not only on short-term wins but a long-term vision for the Life Fitness Key Accounts team, globally

SKILLS & ABILITIES 

  • You excel at developing relationships at the executive and tactical levels and have experience as a consultant to operators
  • Minimum 10 years proven successful experience selling Business to Business and managing Key Account relationships.
  • Experience of working in an international sales environment.
  • You have experience with a solution-based approach to solving customer requirements
  • A proven track record of exceeding quota attainment.
  • Exceptional commercial acumen, with in-depth financial understanding.
  • Ability to think strategically across all functions.
  • Experience in the fitness or sporting goods industry would be preferable, but not essential
  • Ability to inspire and motivate others – a true team leader.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix structure, understanding political influences.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organization skills
  • Secondary languages advantageous however not essential. 
  • You live in either the UK, the Netherlands, or in the Barcelona region
